    Show the formulas and assumptions

Annual cash benefit = avoidable annual cash cost + additional annual revenue × contribution margin.

    Total ownership cost = one-time investment + (monthly operating cost × 12 × years).

Net cash value = annual cash benefit × years − total ownership cost.

Cash ROI = net cash value ÷ total ownership cost. If cost is zero, ROI is undefined.

Net present value = −one-time investment + sum of each year's (annual cash benefit − annual operating cost) ÷ (1 + discount rate) raised to the year.

Payback months = one-time investment ÷ ((annual cash benefit ÷ 12) − monthly operating cost), when that denominator is positive.

Annual released hours = participants × hours freed weekly × 52 × adoption rate.

Capacity value = annual released hours × redeployment rate × loaded hourly rate. Capacity is excluded from financial ROI, NPV, and payback.

This simplified model assumes level annual benefit and constant annual operating cost. It excludes taxes, ramp-up, working-capital timing, and terminal value.

    Roadmap readiness

Score each area from 0 to 5 using evidence. These scores highlight missing prerequisites and do not predict AI outcomes.
